Pada 2 hari pertama, para peserta telah mengenal budaya Indonesia lebih jauh dengan berkunjung ke situs budaya dan mendapatkan perkuliahan mengenai batik Indonesia. Namun tak afdal rasanya, jika tidak berkunjung dan mencoba membuat langsung ke tempat pembuatannya.
Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) menerima kunjungan lapangan dari dosen dan mahasiswa University of Dundee, Skotlandia pada tanggal 24—27 Februari 2025. Peserta kunjungan terdiri atas 3 dosen dan 16 mahasiswa dari Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design.

Sebagai bentuk komitmen atas perannya dalam penyediaan energi bersih dan terbarukan serta sebagai salah satu bentuk pengabdian masyarakat, pada tahun 2025 Departemen Teknik Mesin dan Industri (DTMI) UGM kembali menyelenggarakan Freshmore Asian Cross-Curricular Trips (FACT) bekerja sama dengan Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) yang berlangsung pada 6—10 Januari 2025. Mengusung aktivitas Modelling Uncertainty dengan topik ”Designing PV System for Riverside Community”, peserta FACT yang terdiri dari 43 orang mahasiswa UGM gabungan dari DTMI, Departemen Teknik Elektro dan Teknologi Informasi (DTETI), dan Departemen Teknik Kimia (DTK) serta 33 mahasiswa SUTD melaksanakan aktivitas bersama secara berkelompok di Laboratorium Menggambar Teknik DTMI, RW 05 Kalurahan Terban, dan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) Kalurahan Cokrodiningratan.
Program Studi Magister Teknik Industri Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) bersama dengan Departemen Teknik Kimia dan Departemen Teknik Nuklir dan Teknik Fisika mengadakan Sharing Session dengan mengundang IMT Atlantique, Perancis pada Rabu (30/10), bertempat di Meeting Room 1 Gedung Prof. Roosseno Soerjohadikoesoemo Smart and Green Learning Center (SGLC) Fakultas Teknik UGM.
Ehime Short Term Summer Student Exchange Program akan berlangsung tanggal 22 Agustus – 21 September 2023 di Fakultas Teknik, UGM dan 17 Oktober – 16 November 2023 di Ehime University, Jepang. Scholarship yang diberikan oleh Ehime University untuk program ini adalah sebesar 80.000 Yen.

Under the REd-UC, Member Institutions are required to form a consortium among academic institutions and industrial partners in ASEAN and Japan. Similarly to previous AUN/SEED-Net CEP, the program shifts its focus from scholarship and joint/double degree programs to collaborative research projects and/or other feasible educational activities. The expected outputs and outcomes of the collaborative research projects and/or other feasible educational activities could be various and should sustain into the future to achieve community, financial, and organizational sustainability.
