At the same time we decide to sign our French Indonesian Consortium in Engineering and Management : FICEM we propose to organize a Scientific Workshop, with the French Embassy support. It’ll be held in Jakarta during 2 days (March 11th and 12th, 2015). From the French part we ask also to all the researchers in Environment from the Graduate Schools of Engineering from the Institute Mines Telecom. This action will be our first research action within FICEM.
You are cordially invited for participation to this event and/or to spread this call for the workshop entitled:
Environmental friendly technologies for reducing and controlling the GHG emission from human activities (EftechGHG)
Context
The global population is projected to increase from 7 to 10 billion people in the next 20-30 years. Moreover, the climate changes cause many weather events like storm, typhoon…. It is therefore an urgent priority to address sustainable energy production, water resources preservation, air quality improvement to reduce the GHG emission.
Scope
The aim of the seminar is to imagine the green cities of the future with presentation and discussion of results about:
- Waste to energy paradigm (ex. Pyrolysis, biogas purification separation….)
- Water–energy nexus (ex. Low energy wastewater treatment processes, storm water management…)
- Air quality (ex. Indoor air quality, pollutant reduction and dispersion…)
Oral presentations
The presentation will be followed by an open discussion between the researchers and also some company representatives.
Presentation format: 20 min + 5 min questions (Including 5 min of a general presentation of the team)
Deadlines
The deadline of abstracts (1 to 2 pages in English) is February 8, 2015
