Astechnova 2019 is the 5th International Energy Conference held by Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The conference will be held on October 30th – 31st, 2019 at the Eastparc Hotel in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Taking “Energy Innovations and Sustainable Environment” as the main theme, this international conference is a broad-based meeting with focus on policy and technological innovations for energy production, distribution, and consumption systems as well as creating a sustainable environment for human-living on earth. Such innovations are essentials in fighting the climate change and global warming while also meeting energy demand of the people by increasing energy efficiency, lowering energy cost, and also optimizing local energy resources economically.
Since 2014 until 2017, the conference was held successfully and was attended by several participants and experts from China, Cuba, Cambodia, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, South Africa, USA, Vietnam, and Venezuela. The conference is held to bring together researchers and practitioners from industry, research institutions, energy and environmental institutions, and academia to give an overview of the state-of-the-art, to present new research results and exchange ideas and experiences in the field of energy technology and policy development. By then, this conference is acting as a bridge to increase the opportunity of collaboration for solving present and future energy and environment challenges.
