The education in transportation, both undergraduate (S1) and postgraduate (S2), is the main factor in nurturing the specialists in main transport system. Master Program in Transport System and Engineering (MSTT) at Universitas Gadjah Mada was established in January 1996 within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. This program is an answer given to the increasing demand of high quality human resources and specialists in transport system, transport planning, and transport development in Indonesia.
