The Doctoral Program in Geological Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Gadjah Mada is the leading doctoral program in Indonesia. In the academic year 2016/2017 there are 35 active students consisting Indonesian and foreign students. This program has successfully graduated more than 50 Ph.D’s since its establishment.
This program offers nationally and internationally qualified lecturer and promoter as well as international research promotors. International network with AUN/ SEED-Net JICA also gives advantages which allows students the opportunity to conduct comparative studies and joint research at major universities in Japan. Several scholarships to conduct research in reputable universities in Europe are offered in various schemes.
