On Wednesday, April 12th 2017, UPHI FoE UGM held an international students lunch event. The event was held in Bulaksumur G-12. This event was held for the international students at the Faculty of Engineering. This event also attended by Vice Dean of Research, Community Service and Cooperation, Dr. Sugeng Sapto Surjono, S.T , M.T., Head of Research, Development, Community Services, and Publication Unit, Avrin Nur Widiastuti, S.T., M.Eng., and Head of International Affairs Unit, Dr. Indra Perdana, S.T., MT. 
Pendaftaran BUMA Education Partnership 2017 dapat dilakukan dengan mendaftar langsung melalui sekretarit ataupun online melalui form berikut.

On Tuesday, March 14th 2017, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jan Fransoo, dean of TU Eindhoven Graduate School, had visited Faculty of Engineering Universitas Gadjah Mada. He had a meeting with Faculty Members of Faculty of Engineering UGM to discuss about future collaboration, academic exchange opportunity, and research at TUe. Later on, he delivered an information session titled “Study at TU Eindhoven” in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. (Dika)
The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of Gadjah Mada University proudly present the 9th International Conference on Thermofluids 2017. The 9th International Conference on Thermofluids objectives are bringing together researchers, scientists, academics, policy makers and professionals to exchange information and identify research needs in the areas of thermofluids engineering. In this annual conference, we seek to expand the scope to a wider community of researchers allowing a higher quality of knowledge transfer and communication. We hope that by collaborating with the researcher from different country will increase in both the quality and visibility of publications. The conference would also contribute to continuos development of the research and technology in thermofluids engineering for current and future energy and environment sustainability.
Ketentuan peserta:
1. Peserta dimohon untuk mengisi pendaftaran online.
2. Peserta diwajibkan mengumpulkan surat pernyataan yang telah diunduh, diisi, ditandatangi oleh peserta dan diketahui oleh Departemen.
3. Peserta dibatasi sejumlah 50 orang.
4. Sertifikat hanya akan diberikan kepada peserta dengan minimum kehadiran 90% dan mengikuti ujian diakhir kegiatan.
5. Info lebih lanjut menghubungi Ibu Indha (Biro Dekan) atau Ibu Ari (Bagian Kemahasiswaan) Fakultas Teknik UGM.
Sebagai wujud untuk terus berkomitmen dalam pemanfaatan sampah/waste menjadi sumber energy, WRC FT UGM mengoptimalkan operasi dan pemanfaatan biogas plant di Pasar Buah Gamping, Sleman Yogyakarta. Sejak beroperasi pada akhir 2012 telah berhasil mengubah cara padang masyarakat terutama pedagang dan pengunjung pasar bahwa sampah buah yang semula bermasalah menjadi sumber daya yang bernilai guna. Upaya optimalisasi produksi dan pemanfaatan biogas plant tersebut terus dilakukan oleh pihak terkait antara lain UGM, Pemda Sleman dan Koperasi Gemah Ripah Pasar Buah Gamping yang salah satunya melalui skema Rispro LPDP 2016-2017.
