BACKGROUND
As a platform for ASEAN Engineering scholars to publish their research papers, ASEAN Engineering Journal (ASEAN E.J.) supported by AUN/SEED-Net is established to fulfill the goal to strengthen the network and Engineering Education in the region.
The Journal is designed to be the collection of new and innovative knowledge emerged from ASEAN and functions as a foundation of dissemination of researches of the people in the region with the topics that fulfill the specified needs in the area. PUBLICATION SCHEDULE
The journal is published in English in both electronic and hard copy format. The publications include four types of content; Full papers, Notes, Technical Reports, and Reviews. The copyright of each will be transferred to AUN/SEED-Net.
The nine engineering fields are grouped accordingly by theme as follow.
- Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Geological Engineering
- Chemical Engineering, and Material Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Information & Communication Technology
- Manufacturing Engineering, and Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering
Researches in interdisciplinary area can be considered in any themes.
Minimum four issues of the journal (one per the above group) are scheduled for release annually. The sequence of the release depends on the number of accepted manuscripts in each group.
In the third issue, the focus is on the group of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Geological Engineering.
MANUSCRIPT TYPES
The journal publishes four types of papers; Full Papers, Notes, and Technical Reports. Reviews are irregularly published at the request of AUN/SEED-Net to the specified authors.
- Full papers should be a report in full of a significant work and be more than 5 pages. Articles are reviewed by selected reviewers.
- Notes should be also a report in full of a significant work that is limited in scope and are restricted to 4 pages. Articles are reviewed by selected reviewers.
- Technical Reports are technical contribution providing and will be worth publishing as either Full Papers or Notes in the future. Articles are restricted to 2 pages and are generally not reviewed.
REGULAR PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors should electronically submit full paper in PDF or MS WORD document. Details requirement for the format of full papers can be found at : www.seed-net.org. All papers should be sent via email to journal@aun-seed.net. The first page of the paper must contact the title, names, and affiliations of the authors, email address and for keywords/phases.
Each paper will be reviewed by independent referees and the final acceptance for publication is based on a majority of vote of referees. Authors will be provided referee’s comments when the review results are returned.
